St. Paul is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Founded in 1895, we remain dedicated to serving Christ through our witness to his saving truth, our mercy shown to people in need, and the love we show one another in our lives together.
At St. Paul Lutheran Church we:
St. Paul Lutheran Church is a proud supporter of Clarinda Lutheran School , and we fully support its missions of telling the next generation the saving truth of Jesus Christ and providing quality Christian education. St. Paul is a full member of the Clarinda Lutheran School Association.
St. Paul is blessed to have a comparatively large Sunday School with many dedicated volunteers, an active chapter of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, a Sewing Group that prepares quilts for mission projects, a popular couples’ group called the “Merry Matrimonials”, a hand chime choir, and a chapter of Lutheran Youth Fellowship which participates in Higher Things activities.
If you live in the Clarinda area or are just visiting or passing through, we invite you to join us for worship.
If you are interested in learning more about the Christian faith, Pastor Dudley regularly holds an in-depth twelve session Adult Inquiry Class which covers the basics from a distinctly Lutheran point of view. The class is designed for those seeking membership in the Lutheran Church; but is open to all, and there are no costs or obligations. Send Pastor Dudley an email to ask about the next scheduled class.
Pastor Dudley also teaches a Weekly Bible Study 6:30 AM Thursdays at Vaughn’s Café in Clarinda. Everyone is always invited to join us for solid biblical teaching, superb Christian fellowship, and a hearty breakfast at Vaughn’s.
